Rubber Rabbitbrush is a perennial shrub native to the western habitats including the plains, high desert, intermountain valley bottoms, foothills and mountains. Known for its silvery-gray foliage and bright yellow flower clusters that bloom in late summer to fall. Rubber rabbitbrush is a low moisture plant that likes full sun and sandy, well-draining soil. It's a low maintenance shrub that can be used in soil stabilization and restoration applications, xeriscaping and pollinator gardens. Attractive to butterflies, bees, and other late season pollinators. The blue-green, needlelike leaves and pale stems add color to the landscape.
